General Summary:
Responsible to lead and perform a variety of maintenance duties. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, scheduling/performing preventative maintenance, equipment maintenance (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic), moving furniture/equipment, coordinating company vehicle maintenance, and general building/grounds maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for installation, repair, and upkeep of Company facilities, machinery, and equipment.
  • General building/grounds maintenance, Including snow removal and salting walkways.
  • Performs and schedules preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Cleans, repairs, and installs machines and equipment – typically mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic.
  • Monitors maintenance equipment inventory and places orders when necessary.
  • Tracks expenses, monitors the budget, and assigns schedules for all maintenance activity.
  • Manages relationships with contractors and service providers.
  • Maintains maintenance logs and reports on daily activities.
  • Responsible for knowledge of and implementation of total quality process in day to day activities.
  • Maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Travel to offsite Parker stores to address any maintenance needs.

  • Responsible for profitability of company and attaining goals and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors.
  • Participates in corporate on-boarding and orientation programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Five (5) years of work experience in area of responsibility.
  • Five (5) years of experience in planning maintenance operations.
  • Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) certification is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Well-versed in maintenance processes, LOTO, and MIOSHA regulations.
  • Ability to keep track of and report on maintenance activity within standard MS Office programs.
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and ability.
  • Ability to bend/lift and/or carry weight to industry standards.
  • Organizational skills required to prioritize, plan and coordinate work activities and resources in area of responsibility.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Motivated and self-directed.
  • Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs in and around building.
  • Basic understanding of PLC’s, ladder logic, and ability to read blueprints.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with associates, customers, business partners and management team.  Demonstrated teamwork approach with co-workers utilizing skills in oral communication, active listening, written and oral directions and cooperating with and assisting others when needed.
Working Conditions:
  • Normal manufacturing environment with regular (up to 100% of work time) exposure to noise, dust, office equipment and supplies. 
  • Physical dexterity needed to bend, stretch, lift and reach.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extensive periods throughout the day.
  • Ability to perform basic office tasks such as answering the phone and using standard office equipment.
  • The ability to work on scissors lift at high heights to change lighting when needed.
  • Ability to use a keyboard and computer.
