General Summary:
The Sales & Marketing Assistant plays a key role in operational tasks that directly support the success of the Sales & Marketing departments. Works closely with internal departments to manage sales leads, coordinate company travel, prepare presentation materials, process reports and maintain the integrity of the company CRM system. Supports the executive management team’s day-to-day administration activities and supports the marketing team with event coordination and marketing materials.



Essential Job Functions:
(What You Will Do)


Administrative Roles
  • Assist with customer account maintenance & updating
  • Process and analyze daily sales reports
  • Assist the Executive Management team with day-to-day operational tasks
  • Assists with coordination of customer lunch & learns for the Sales team
  • Book corporate travel arrangements for associates
  • Develop and Gather customer survey responses
  • Assist with the processing of corporate credit cards
Sales Support
  • Supports sales staff with lead generation/qualification. Tracks leads by following up and closing with vendors. Identifies lead opportunities through vendors, campaigns and bid boards.
  • Develops sales presentations by assembling proposals, videos, slide shows, demonstration/product capability literature, and compiling account/competitor analysis
  • Assists with the tracking and logging of customer agreements
  • Creates customer labels, reports, customer agreements
  • Coordinates customer / sales department events such as event tickets and offsite meetings
  • Manages & updates sales tools including iPads by loading content, updating software, assisting account managers and maintaining an updated asset list
  • Orders company supplies & catalogs
  • Assists with sales forecast and quarterly reviews
Marketing Support
  • Develops Marketing materials for customers
  • Assist with development & maintenance of ecommerce website product lines
  • Plans corporate events, including customer open houses, trade shows, trainings
  • Supports retail store marketing operations
  • Conduct research on competition, market opportunities, etc.
Supplemental Job Functions:
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Associate's degree in Business or related field—Bachelor's degree preferred (may substitute three (3) years of Marketing or Administrative experience)
  • Three (3) years progressive work experience (prefer in administrative role)
  • Previous experience working on a computer (MS Office preferred, Pick-UNI Database and website design a plus)
  • Previous creative experience preferred
